I have several things I’d like to share with you today, all in one post.
A Wife’s Heart: A Colloquy (#4)
In the fourth installment of my on-going conversation with CSL at The Curmudgeonly Librarian, we discuss how a husband can support his wife’s spiritual growth, the difference between caring for a wife’s feelings and letting her feelings drive the relationship, the importance of a guy sharing his feelings (about more than just sex) with his wife, and more. You can read the conversation here.
As I try to figure out the best way to offer live chats so women can encourage each other in the journey of joyful sexual intimacy in their marriages, I’ll be testing out different days and times. There is a chat about baby steps this afternoon, but I know this isn’t a good time for women who work regular daytime hours or who have small children.
I’d like to schedule an additional chat about baby steps for this Saturday, August 1, at 11 am US central time. I know that summer weekends aren’t great for everyone, either, but perhaps some of the women who can’t attend this afternoon will be able to make it then.
I write The Forgiven Wife, respond to emails (I’m behind at the moment, but I’ve been working to get caught up!), and work with other marriage bloggers in various ways on my own time. It is ministry work that matters to me; I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I do.
There are real costs, though, and while I absorb what I can, I cannot do much without your support. My hosting service is up for renewal in a few weeks, my laptop needs some work, and I’d love to get a real designer involved in making the site both beautiful and easy to navigate. And I have my eye on a few conferences I would love to attend.
Please consider providing some financial support for what happens here.
The Support page provides suggestions and shopping links.
The most direct and fast way to support The Forgiven Wife is with a direct donation through GoFundMe.
All the affiliate shopping links on the Support page will give me a small commission at no extra cost to you. Some of them can help your marriage, too!
The most important support of all is your prayers for God’s purpose to be accomplished here.
I appreciate your support and encouragement every day.
